Connect fuel and oxidizer, then chamber to nozzle.
A rocket accelerates exhaust backward. Conservation of momentum gives the rocket an opposite forward thrust. The rocket carries both fuel and oxidizer, so combustion and momentum thrust can continue in vacuum.
Ideal momentum thrust ṁ×ve; pressure-thrust term omitted. Fuel and oxidizer are carried aboard. Vacuum does not remove momentum thrust. No full rocket trajectory or engine safety model.
Produce thrust in vacuum with both propellants supplied.
Produce thrust in vacuum.
