How can living cells replace solid bone?
Fit the specimen and set conditions before running.
Osteoclasts remove old matrix. Osteoblasts place new osteoid in the prepared cavity. Mineral then matures within the replacement matrix.
One remodeling packet. Matrix mass is conserved by the selected replacement supply; mineral maturity is schematic. No density or fracture prediction.
Replace the old matrix packet without increasing its mass.
